Hello Students,
In the last email, you learned about forming the present passive voice. To form the future passive voice is a little easier.
Whatever the subject is, always use the verb "will be" + a past participle
- She will be paid on Friday. (pay)
- The mail will be delivered this afternoon. (deliver)
- The games will be watched by millions of people. (watch)
- I will be interviewed by the owner of the company. (interview)
This Green Level Lesson will also
provide help if you need it.
Another way to make the future tense passive is to use "be going to" in place of "will." This is very common in American English. Pay attention to how the verb "be" changes according to the subject:
-
She is going to be paid on Friday.
- The mail is going to be delivered this afternoon.
- The games are going to be watched by millions of people.
- I am going to be interviewed by the owner of the company.
