Hello Students,
There's
a new Yellow Level reading exercise. The Yellow Level is intended for
students who are at the high beginning to low intermediate ability
levels in their understanding of English.
Click here to read Living in the city can be interesting and fun.
This reading exercise includes audio so you can listen to the words as
you are reading. After you finish reading and listening to it, you can
record your own version of the exercise with the microphone at the
bottom of the page. You must practice reading and speaking out loud.
This is one of the ways to do it.
There's a new word of the day: fall. This looks like an easy word but it isn't, especially when it's used as an irregular verb. I posted the word "dark"
two days ago, but not many students looked at it. Trust your teacher.
Understanding the different ways to use the small words in English is
one of the keys to your success in mastering the language.
New
video: This video was made upon request for a student who wanted to know how to make the present perfect tense negative. I hope it helps!
Thanks for sending in your photos for August 2015.
I'll post the new ones soon. I'm especially interested in getting
pictures of students in action. Photos that show students doing
something such as working or playing a sport can be used within
lessons. Thanks again!
School
starts up again here in the U.S. in just a couple of more weeks. Are
you ready? Are your kids ready? A good way to get prepared is to
practice your English as much as possible.
That's all for now.
Have a nice day!
Your teacher,
Paul
PEACE!
